Sanctuary Cottage cottage South of England
Sanctuary Cottage is a superbly-renovated Sunday School in Totland, Isle of Wight. It sleeps six people in three comfortable and flexible bedrooms, a super-king size double bedroom which also offers a TV, a twin and a final bedroom with a set of children?s bunks. There is also a family bathroom and a ground floor cloak room, as well as an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside there is an enclosed patio garden to the front and roadside parking on a private unmade road. The property is close to a multitude of beaches, including a year-round dog-friendly stretch and there are many restaurants and cafes within also close by.
Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the west of the Isle of Wight, the village of Totland offers visitors local shops, pubs and spectacular, unspoiled coastal scenery. The award-winning beaches of both Totland and Colwell Bay provide a wide range of activities, whilst Freshwater boasts a golf course and public swimming, both of which are situated along the Tennyson Trail. It is possible to take a chair lift from Alum Bay and enjoy some of the wonderful views across the sand cliffs, the famous `Needles` chalk stacks and lighthouse beyond. The ancient castle, busy harbour and narrow streets at Yarmouth are also well worth exploring.
