Situated in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty this is a fantastic base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and nearby Kent and Sussex coastline. The property is in a tranquil setting down a long dirt track and forms part of a beautiful 16th century Kentish oast house. On the ground floor a wooden barn door opens up to a drying room with washing machine and extra fridge/freezer. An outside staircase leads to the front door of the property which opens into a vast open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a spacious farmhouse-style feel to it. In the centre of the room is a wooden dining table and beyond that running the length of the room is the country-house style kitchen with butler sink electric oven and hob microwave fridge and dishwasher. The focal point of this area is a huge Welsh dresser adding to the rustic shabby-chic feel. The sitting area of the room is cosy and inviting with large sofa armchairs and a wooden chest. There is a TV and CD player. The master bedroom is situated to the right of the front door and has a magnificent four-poster bed and chandelier. This room is located in one of the oasts roundels making it an extra special place to stay. A sumptuous bathroom has a stunning roll top bath and a book case making a real sanctuary. A second roundel is home to a wet room with large overhead shower head. Next to this is the second bedroom which is located in the third roundel with twin beds. Additional sleeping is available by arrangement in the eaves - it has limited headroom and is only accessible by ladder making it not suitable for children under the age of 8. In the garden a pretty wooden table sits under a tree with up-cycled chairs ideal for al fresco meals. There is also a zip-line and tree house children must be supervised when using these please.
