The thriving market town of Brecon (3 miles) has a range of great independent shops pubs and restaurants as well as a cathedral leisure centre theatre and a 1930s-style cinema. There are miles of walks and cycle trails for walkers and nature-lovers to follow with local attractions including the remains of the Iron Age fort at Pen-y-Crug (4 miles) the former Roman garrison site at Y Gaer (3.5 miles) the highest peak in southern Britain Pen y Fan (9 miles) and the popular Llangorse Lake (10 miles). The spacious lounge has been cosily furnished and features a wood burner set in an impressive stone fireplace. This is a lovely space to relax in at the end of a great day with plenty of seating a TV with DVD and a pool table to keep you occupied.
