Set high up in the North York Moors this property is situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Set out on foot to explore the stunning open countryside with its pastures and woodland stopping for a bite to eat at a local pub along the way. Home to a string of country houses ruins and market towns this pocket of Yorkshire boasts the likes of Castle Howard (25 miles) Thirsk (25 miles) and Helmsley (12 miles). Inside this sandstone barn features an impressive open-plan living space complete with vaulted ceilings exposed beams and trusses and flagstone floors. With a choice of comfortable leather sofas Freeview TV/DVD and a wood burner this is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day on foot. At the other end of the barn is a charming kitchen with chunky oak worktops and a range of modern appliances for preparing delicious meals. Also on the ground floor are two bedrooms both of which benefit from TVs and en-suite shower rooms for ultimate privacy and comfort. The master bedroom occupies the entire first floor and boasts a super king-size bed and spacious bathroom with separate walk-in shower and wonderful views across the moors. To the front of the property is a small lawned area overlooking the country shooting estate while to the rear is a delightful sheltered patio with a BBQ for al fresco meals in the summer.
