Nearby you will find a palm-lined promenade, seafront gardens, a lively harbour, international marina, Torre Abbey and several top quality restaurants. Paignton, a short distance away, offers long sandy beaches, colourful atmosphere, paddler-friendly waters and many attractions including Paignton Zoo, Quaywest Waterpark and the Paignton to Dartmouth Steam Railway. Slightly further afield days out include trips to the pretty coastal towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe, the vibrant market towns of Totnes and Ashburton, and the impressive cathedral city of Exeter. More avid explorers also enjoy being within reach of Dartmoor National Park, famed for its stunning scenery.
