Skipton House cottage Yorkshire Dales
Skipton House is an old Victorian townhouse nestled in the Yorkshire town of Skipton. It comprises four bedrooms over four floors; a double, a second floor double, a family room with a double and single bed and another single, sleeping up to eight guests. There is also a shower room with walk-in shower, another shower room with shower, basin and WC, a ground floor cloakroom and a lower ground floor cloakroom, as well as a kitchen, utility, dining room and sitting room. Outside is ample roadside parking and a yard to the rear. Skipton House offers a lovely escape to North Yorkshire. Note: The property is situated on a main road in to Skipton.
Skipton is well placed for visiting all that the Dales has to offer, whilst York, the Lake District and the West Coast are also within easy reach. Its ancient castle is open to the public, while its market occupies the cobbled setts each side of the high street. Steam railways with regular excursions are available at Embsay and Bolton Abbey, and the Leeds to Liverpool Canal passes through, with the 1 mile long Foulridge Tunnel.
