The quiet village location of this lovely holiday home makes it an ideal getaway for a relaxing retreat whilst being within easy driving distance to all the major attractions along the stunning Northumberland coast and beautiful countryside. Drive or walk to Druridge Bay Country Park to follow walking and cycling trails including the circular walk around Ladyburn Lake and the 7-mile stretch of sandy beach. Walk along the dunes and discover Hauxley Nature Reserve then head into Amble the bustling fishing harbour and marina with great restaurants and award-winning high street shops. Warkworth Castle village and beach are just beyond and a visit to Alnwick for the market castle and gardens is a must. Enter through the front door under the historic archway where you can sit to take off your walking boots and hang your outdoor clothing then head into the spacious hallway with a WC cloakroom and storage room. There are two well-presented lounges to choose from the first with a warming wood burner and comfortable sofas to relax on and watch a film on the Smart TV and another light and airy lounge with French doors leading out to the rear patio garden also with a Smart TV. The spacious kitchen/diner certainly has plenty of contemporary features and is an excellent social space for everyone to get together. Perch on the bar stools for breakfast or with your favourite drink while dinner is being prepared. There is plenty of storage space in the kitchen and an electric oven and induction hob American-style fridge/freezer microwave and dishwasher and you can make your own barista-style coffees with the coffee machine. Enjoy your family meals at the large dining table and there is a Smart TV in the dining area to keep the chef company. The utility room is just off the kitchen and houses the washing machine and tumble dryer and a door from here leads out to the patio and hot tub. Head upstairs to find the four beautifully presented bedrooms. The master bedroom is a calming sanctuary with a super-king-size bed and a sofa where you can relax away from it all and watch your own Smart TV. You can even see the sea from the window. The en-suite is a smart shower room with a walk-in shower and WC. The king-size bedroom has views to the front of the property and the countryside beyond and there are a Smart TV and a comfortable armchair and footstool perfect for relaxing with a book. The en-suite shower room has a shower and WC. The first twin bedroom with single beds has useful open storage and a chest of drawers for your belongings and a Smart TV while the second twin bedroom has a double bed and a single bed with Smart TV and a built-in closet. The luxurious bathroom is a real treat to escape to for some quiet time with a lovely freestanding bath perfect for a long bubble bath after a day out and about exploring the beaches and a walk-in shower and WC. Outside the enclosed rear patio garden has quality garden furniture for al fresco dining and a 7-seater hot tub where you can relax in the bubbles gazing up at the starry night sky. There is more seating to the west-facing front of the house where you can catch the evening sun and off-road parking for up to four cars on the drive. Need to know: 4 bedrooms 1 super king size, 1 king size and 2 twins. 3 bathrooms 2 en suite shower rooms with shower and WC and 1 bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC, plus additional WC downstairs.
