This charming cottage, attached to the owner's house, is set within a delightful 1 acre garden with countryside views. The property is situated in the rural, picturesque hamlet of Hakeford (1 mile from Stoke Rivers village) on the edge of Exmoor National Park. This is the perfect property for couples wanting peace and tranquillity, yet you will also be perfectly placed for touring the whole of North Devon.
The historic town of Barnstaple, with its shops, pubs and restaurants, is just a 10 minute drive. The pretty fishing villages of Clovelly, Instow, Appledore, with its narrow streets and quaint pubs and shops and the coastal villages and towns of Croyde, Woolacombe, Lynmouth, Lynton, Ilfracombe and Bideford are all within a 30 minute drive. They include some of North Devon's most spectacular beaches and unspoilt coves hidden by jagged cliffs with excellent coastal paths. Other interesting places nearby worth a visit include RHS Rosemoor and Dartington Crystal. The National trust property Arlington Court is just 3 miles and Knighthayes Court is a 45 minute drive. Alternatively, sit outside in the garden and relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
This ground floor accommodation offers ONE bedroom: double with en-suite with shower over bath and WC.
