Stone Cottage cottage Heart of England
Stone Cottage is a delightful, stone-built, end-terrace cottage in the rural hamlet of Ledicot outside the village of Sobdon in Herefordshire. The cottage is set over three floors and can accommodate four people. There is a king-size double room on the first and second floors, one with an en-suite basin and WC and one with the option of being a twin room. The cottage also offers a family bathroom with a bath and a shower over and a ground floor basin and WC. You will find a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a garden room overlooking the garden with a dining table and chairs, plus comfy sofas. The garden is large and enclosed with a patio, furniture and a barbecue, and there is also off road parking for two cars outside. Stone Cottage is a wonderful base for a family holiday, exploring Herefordshire, all year round.
The pleasant village of Shobdon lies between the historic market towns of Leominster and Presteigne, surrounded by beautiful Herefordshire countryside and close to the Welsh borderlands. Mentioned in the Domesday Book, Shobdon has a village shop, an excellent pub/restaurant and even a private airfield, providing a rare opportunity to learn how to fly helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. A great base for a holiday exploring Herefordshire!
