1 OF 3 PROPERTIES SET ON A FARMING ESTATE AMIDST GLORIOUS HIGHLAND SCENERY
These properties offer an opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet of a get away from it all holiday on a working farm where the Highland cattle are an attraction themselves. The single track road meanders several miles across farmland to reach your destination where complete peace and seclusion awaits you.
Wildlife abounds in the varied habitat of forests, moorland and hills. Bird-watching and hill-walking can be enjoyed here and trout fishing may be arranged (access to the hills may be restricted in certain areas in October). There are many places of interest to visit. To the west is Pitlochry or south to Blairgowrie and Perth.
Amenities: Bed linen and towels for hire to overseas visitors at £12 per person per week. Regret no pets. Regret no TV.
This simple stone shepherd’s cottage offers THREE bedrooms: 1 room with small double and single bed and 1 twin both with 6’ ceilings and lovely views. 1 further twin located downstairs. Bathroom. Lounge / dining room: open fire. Small kitchenette: Calor gas cooker, small gas fridge, walk in larder with stone shelves. Scullery.
Amenities: Gas, solid fuel and basic electricity generator included.
Additional info: Regret no mains electricity but a small automatic diesel generator in outhouse provides basic power for lighting and hot water. Heating provided by open fire and gas heater. Regret no washing machine.
Additional info: Short breaks are charged as follows: 3 & 4 nights at 75% of the full weekly rates, 5 & 6 nights will be the full weekly rate. Arrival 4pm.
