Located off the heart of this charming village centre, a short stroll from the local amenities, including 2 pubs both with good reputations just stumbling distance from your door. The popular tourist destination of Bude is a short drive or bus journey away, enjoying stunning sandy beaches and catering for all tastes from the professional surfer to the professional sunbather. Bude hosts a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, making it the perfect place to pick up that cherished memento of your stay. Close by are some of Cornwall's most precious spots including Tintagel, famed for its connection to the myth and legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, Padstow and Boscastle, to name but a few. Situated a minutes drive to the Atlantic Highway means that it is also the perfect spot for exploring the whole of this unique county. Leisure facilities: small sunken 4 metre diameter pool. Games room: providing an American pool table, football table, table tennis and a darts board.
This unique property offers hardwood flooring throughout and SIX bedrooms: 1 master double that has a 2'6" bed in an alcove and 3' pull out single bed and enjoys en-suite shower, bath and WC. The second double bedroom has en-suite shower and WC. A separate staircase leads to 3 further bedrooms 5' double, 4'6" double and 1 twin room, which share a bathroom with bath and WC. The ground floor benefits from a family bedroom with 3' single and bunk bed with 4'6" double below. It is adjacent to a shower room with WC.
Bathroom: there is an additional wet room with WC on the ground floor. Lounge / kitchen / diner: huge open-plan living area, the attraction of this property at the heart of which is the woodburner and ample seating on leather sofas. This is the perfect area for entertaining extending to the outdoors through south facing patio doors. A separate TV lounge with more sofas has a large flatscreen TV with SkyTV and DVD, Wii connection and iPod dock through the music system. Well-equipped kitchen area offering range cooker with gas hob and extractor hood, American style fridge / freezer and dishwasher. Utility room: washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside: step down onto wooden deck with sunken pool, BBQ, dining area and sun loungers, perfect for warm summer days. The spacious garden is bordered by the river Neet as it meanders past.
Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and heating included, downstairs has underfloor heating whilst upstairs bedrooms are on thermostats. Wi-fi available. Regret no smoking and no pets.
Additional info: short breaks available, 3 and 4 nights 80%, 5 nights 90% of weekly rental. Security deposit will be required for all adult groups, confirmed at time of booking.
