A DETACHED COSY COTTAGE WITH STUNNING SEA AND MOUNTAIN VIEWS
A comfortable cottage with a large enclosed garden, set back from the road which leads down the hill into the little village of Stromeferry, with beautiful scenic surroundings to be found in the Highlands and panoramic views from the cottage garden to Loch Carron and the hills beyond.
Stromeferry has a launching slipway for visitors who wish to bring a boat, enjoy leisure pursuits of sailing, kayaking, fishing, diving and hillwalking or take the scenic train journey to Inverness. The picturesque resort of Plockton has a wide choice of shops, Kyle of Lochalsh is 9 miles to the south west, visit the Eilean Donan Castle, Brochs of Glenelg, climb up the falls of Glomack or wander through the Lochalsh woodland garden. Stromeferry is an ideal base for touring this part of Scotland with Lochcarron, Applecross and Torridon to the north, along with Kyle and Isle of Skye to the south west
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin.
Bathroom: with shower over bath.
Lounge: with wonderful views, open fire, Freeview TV, DVD and hi-fi. Hall / diner. Kitchen: fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave.
Outside: enclosed garden with seating.
Amenities: towels & bed linen included. Electric included June, July, August and September, 1 bag of coal supplied.
Location: Stromeferry train station within walking distance. Shop and pub 6 miles at Balmacara. Additional Info: short breaks are charged as follow: 3 and 4 nights at 75% of the full weekly rates, 5 and 6 nights will be the full weekly rate. Arrival: 4pm.
