Swallows Barn is a charming stone cottage positioned in the lovely hamlet of Mickleton, on the edges of the North Pennines AONB. It boasts four bedrooms; a king-size double with en-suite shower room, along with a double, a single daybed which becomes a double and a single, sleeping seven guests. Mickleton is situated in the heart of Teesdale, close to the villages of Romaldkirk and Middleton-in-Teesdale. Mickleton harbours a cluster of stone houses along a single street with two pubs, one serving excellent food. The Pennine and Teesdale Ways are right on the doorstep providing lots of walking opportunities. There are also excellent cycling facilities in the dale and Hamsterley Forest.
