The charming village of Noss Mayo is hidden away on the banks of the beautiful Yealm Estuary. The area is blessed with many coastal and countryside walks with two beaches a short walk away. The village is home to two excellent river side pubs, both of which offer superb meals using local produce. Across the water, the village of Newton Ferrers, may be reached on foot via causeways at low tide. A seasonal ferry also operates between Noss Mayo, Newton Ferrers and the South West Coast Path to Wembury. The surrounding South Hams area is known for its award-winning sandy beaches and the breath-taking beauty of the Dartmoor National Park.
