Situated in the charming village of Swyre, in the Bride Valley and has recently been refurbished to a high standard. The property is situated off a bridle path offering a network of country walk.
The quaint stone and thatched villages of Swyre and Puncknowle offer excellent pubs with visits from Brass Bands and Morris Dancers through the summer months. Beach is within walking distance, 2 minutes by car, with panoramic coastal views. The shingle beach of West Bexington forms part of the Jurassic Coast and has a hotel, pub and beachside café with a limited shop service. Perfect for nature lovers, walks and fishing enthusiasts. The pretty village of Abbotsbury (10 minutes drive) known for its swannery and tropical gardens are enjoyed by many throughout the year, other popular beaches close by include Hive Beach, Charmouth and Lyme Regis. More attractions within a short drive include Monkey World, Deep Sea Adventures, Portland Castle and a number of National Trust homes and gardens.
The accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: on the ground floor, 1 double with en-suite shower and WC and 1 further double. Upstairs 1 double and 1 twin with balcony boasting splendid countryside views.
Bathroom: on the ground floor with mixer shower over bath and WC. Separate WC between the upstairs bedrooms. Downstairs cloakroom with WC.
Lounge: with double doors into garden room with view over the garden. Patio doors onto the covered veranda, TV and hi-fi. Kitchen / diner: with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Outside: enclosed, well maintained garden with furniture, if accessing the seating area from the garden there is a small slope. There is further seating to the front of the property that catches the morning sun.
Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Regret no smoking within the property. 2 well-behaved dog welcome (at no time must the dog be left unattended in the property). Wi-fi available. No cot or highchair but guests are welcome to bring their own.
Additional info: £100 security deposit payable by cheque 2 weeks prior to arrival, direct to the owners. This property sleeps 8 or 7 with cot.
