This delightful property, which dates back to the 16th century, simply oozes with character from the moment you walk through the door. Although adjoining the main house, this welcoming property enjoys a very separate feel both within the cottage and the quaint enclosed garden.
The market town of Tavistock, that many regard as the heart of West Devon, is a short drive and offers an array of restaurants, shops and pubs, all sympathetically located within the ancient, well preserved architecture. The Tavistock Goose Fair, that takes place on the second Wednesday in October every year, dates back to 1116, a tradition that is much appreciated and well supported from far and wide. Dartmoor National Park is within easy reach and offers some of the most stunning and awe inspiring views in the country, perfect for walkers and cyclists of all abilities or for those simply wishing to park up and enjoy a picnic whilst taking in the rugged beauty of the moor.
