The Barn cottage East Anglia
The Barn is a lovely semi-detached cottage resting in the village of Thornhaugh near Wansford, Cambridgeshire. Hosting two bedrooms; one double with en-suite shower and a double with zip/link that can be made into a twin upon request), along with a shower room, this cottage can sleep a total of four guests. The village is home to an ancient hotel takes its name from a folktale of a traveler passing through the village, The Haycock Hotel is a lovely spot enjoy delicious dining and a traditional afternoon tea, the village is home to a pub, shop, garage, Post Office, and pharmacy. Wansford Bridge sits above the River Nene, in close proximity to The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin Grade I listed building. Peterborough is nearby where you can explore Peterborough Cathedral, a museum, pubs, restaurants, and high street shopping.
