The Coach House cottage The Lake District and Cumbria
The Coach House is a lovely stone-built, stable conversion next to the owners` home, 0.8 miles from the village of Kirkoswald, within reach of Penrith. This cottage sleeps four people and has a king-size double bedroom with en-suite, a ground floor cloakroom, a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a double sofa bed. Outside there`s off road parking for two cars and an enclosed decked area with furniture and an outdoor woodburner and access to private woodland with a fenced pond. The Coach House is a delightful, cosy base for a couple on a romantic retreat.
Kirkoswald is a lovely rural village situated in the Eden Valley, within reach of the Lake District National Park. Kirkoswald has two excellent pubs, both serving fine food, a 12th Century church and a shop and Post Office. The River Eden runs nearby and the area is renowned for its superb trout and salmon fishing, along with walking, cycling, canoeing and climbing.
