The Cottage cottage Peak District
The Cottage is a large, semi-detached cottage located in the village of Tideswell in the Peak District. The cottage can sleep eight people in five bedrooms - one ground floor king-size double, two doubles, one twin and a single. There is a ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC and a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The living accommodation comprises a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with dining area and a multi-fuel stove. Outside there is roadside parking available, on a first come, first served basis. With the amenities of Tideswell on the doorstep and the Spa town of Buxton 9 miles away, The Cottage makes a great base for a year-round break.
Tideswell is a village in the heart of the Peak District National Park, famous for its church dedicated to St John the Baptist, known as `The Cathedral of the Peak`. It is also home to good pubs and restaurants. Great walking is available for all abilities nearby with rugged northern peaks and gentle hills and dales in the south. Within easy reach are Mam Tor, Castleton and the Spa town of Buxton.
