The Forge cottage Heart of England
The Forge is a beautiful former blacksmith`s forge ideally located in the grounds of the owner`s home, on the outskirts of the traditional village of Barston in quintessential English countryside, and can sleep three people in one double bedroom and one single room. The rest of the property contains an open plan living area with kitchen, breakfast bar and sitting area. To the outside there is off road parking for one car a decked area with furniture. The Forge is an ideal base for a relaxing and romantic break away in quintessential English countryside.
A picturesque village set in the meander of the River Blythe, boasting many historic timber-framed buildings, two excellent village pubs, Barston Lakes, a popular fishing venue, and an 18 hole golf course. A great area for walking with the Grand Union Canal Walk and Millenium Way both passing close by. There are many historic towns and villages in the area, including Kenilworth with its imposing ruined Norman castle, Hampton-in-Arden, with numerous listed buildings, and the charming village of Knowle boasting many Tudor buildings.
