Situated on the peaceful Came House Estate, just south of Dorchester is The Garden House, a fine Grade I listed example of mid-18th century Georgian architecture. This grand home has been sensitively renovated to strike the perfect balance between historic home and modern family living.



The property comfortably accommodates nine guests in three spacious double bedrooms and one family bedroom with double bed and additional single bed, a useful option for a couple with a small child. The grand sitting room with its open fire is a welcoming space for gathering all the family together and there is a well-equipped kitchen with an Aga, large dining table and views across The Estate. The house also features a utility/cloakroom on the ground floor, one en-suite and two family bathrooms. A great addition for younger guests is the play area with chalk board walls on the second floor with its extensive range of toys. There is plenty of parking at the front of the property and guests have use of a pretty courtyard garden for al fresco dining with its garden table, benches and chairs.



The Garden House is a semi-detached property and its neighbour, The Courtyard House (sleeps eight guests) is also available to book. Larger groups of up to 17 guests can book both houses together as Park House.
