The Granary cottage North York Moors and Coast

The Granary is a lovely single-storey cottage in the grounds of Swallow Hall Golf Club, just outside York. With two bedrooms, a double and a twin, it sleeps four people comfortably. The cottage also has a bathroom, and an open plan living area with a kitchen, breakfast bar and sitting area. Outside, there is free use of a tennis court, and subsidised golf, as well as ample parking. The Granary is only a short drive from York, and makes a great base for touring the area.

The city of York needs no recommendation, for it teems with interest for the holidaymaker: the Minster, medieval walls, boat trips on the River Ouse, York Races, museums (including the famous National Railway Museum and the Castle Museum), and the internationally-renowned Jorvik Viking Centre and its "time trip" experience.
