The Hayloft cottage Heart of England
The Hayloft is a first floor apartment next to the owner`s Georgian home on the outskirts of Lydney. The apartment sleeps two people in one bedroom which has a king-size double and a single bed. There is also a kitchen and a dining room with a sitting room with an electric woodburner-effect stove. Outside there is a shared lawned garden with furniture, off road parking and bike storage. This is a wonderful relaxing place to enjoy a break at any time of the year and The Hayloft is a lovely base to return to.
The small, thriving town of Lydney is situated between the eastern edge of the Forest of Dean and the River Severn in Gloucestershire. Lydney has a very good range of shops, a leisure centre and sports facilities, as well as pubs, cafes and restaurants serving a wide variety of meals. The magnificent Royal Forest of Dean, England`s largest oak forest and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, boasts numerous trails that can be explored on foot, by bike or on horseback.
