Situated in the picturesque village of Eype this cottage is ideally located for access to a wide variety of local walks local shops and makes a home-from-home base for exploring further the wonders of this part of Dorset. Eype is located half a mile from the local shingle beach which is ideal for dog walking and taking in nature. The coastal walks are spectacular but if you want to go a little further afield Bridport is only 2 miles away and West Bay boasts a working harbour surrounded by cafes. This charming semi-detached cottage is accessed via 10 stone steps leading up from the village lane. The property is entered through the small hall which then leads directly into a cosy lounge/diner. This space has a wealth of original features from the open fire and inglenook fireplace to the feature bread oven and double window seats. The double aspect kitchen has a fridge freezer and washer/dryer. Upstairs there are two bedrooms both with original exposed wooden floors and there is also the family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Heading outside there is a small garden to the front of the property which is mainly laid to lawn with a few potted shrubs. At the rear of the property there is a sloping lawn with countryside views a terrace and a paved area housing the sun house and BBQ. This is accessed via some steps and the whole rear garden is set on a slope. The rear garden is ideal for outdoor living and warmer evenings. There is designated parking for one car 10 yards away.
