The Old Piggery cottage Yorkshire Dales
The Old Piggery is a detached wooden cabin situated on the owner`s smallholding, close to Haworth. This single-storey cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms consisting of two doubles with en-suites and a bunk room, as well as a shower room. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside, there`s a balcony with furniture, a patio with a hot tub, and off road parking for two cars. The Old Piggery is an excellent base for many places in the local area, as well as those further afield, such as York and Harrogate.
Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere.
