The Old Tractor Shed cottage Peak District
The Old Tractor Shed is a lovely converted farm building situated in the village of Cressbrook and is set in a walled Victorian garden. The cottage can sleep six people in three double bedrooms, all with en-suite shower, basin and WC. There is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. There is ample off road parking within the estate grounds. There is private use of a patio and lawned area with furniture as well as shared use of the communal grounds. One well behaved dog welcome. This cottage can be booked with Refs 957497, 957498, 957502, 951515 and together they sleep 37. The Old Tractor Shed is a lovely property ideal for a family of group of friends wishing to explore the Peak District. Note: Shared access to washing machine/dryer
Cressbrook is located on the River Wye and its focal point is the mill, which was built in 1779. Follow the footpath upstream of Cressbrook Mill to Water-cum-Jolly, which is superb for rock climbers, birdwatchers and walkers. North of the mill lies the lane to Ravensdale, which is adjacent to Cressbrook Dale, a gorge-like limestone dale with numerous crags and the remains of several lead mines. Cressbrook Dale is a National Nature Reserve renowned for its range of rare flowers.
