The Orchard cottage Devon

The Orchard is a traditional upside down cottage next door to the owner`s farmhouse on a non-working farm in a rural location, seven miles from Okehampton. This cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms which includes a ground floor king-size double and a second floor mezzanine double. There is also a ground floor bathroom and cloakroom. On the first floor there is an open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside, is a front patio with furniture and off road parking for one car. The Orchard is a delightful, quirky cottage with all the ingredients to create a truly memorable holiday.

Okehampton is a busy market town on the edge of the Dartmoor National Park and near the highest and most dramatic areas of the moor, where Yes Tor rises to a height above 2000 feet. To the north of Okehampton are some beautiful rolling Devon hills where small farming villages nestle amidst woods and fields with plenty of gently flowing rivers.
