The Shippen cottage Wales
The Shippen is a semi-detached cottage, one of seven holiday homes on-site, 2.5 miles from the town of Cardigan. This cottage sleeps five people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one family room with three single beds. The cottage also has a ground floor bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside there`s shared lawned grounds with furniture, an outdoor heated swimming pool and a children`s play area. The Shippen provides suitable accommodation for families with something to suit all tastes in the area.
The market town of Cardigan in Ceredigion is situated on the River Teifi and offers shops, both unique local producers and larger chain stores, as well as tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and a ruined castle. The Pembrokeshire coastline is just a few miles away, plus you will find Cardigan Island Farm Park, Blue Flag sandy beaches and a horse riding centre in the area. Within driving distance is the town of Carmarthen, Dylan Thomas` Boat House in Laugharne, and an array of castles, mills and craft centres.
