Thorndale Farm Barn (12) Stable Cottage are two holiday cottages based in Northleach, Gloucestershire. They are set on a farm which trains the top racehorses and has opportunities to walk amongst the hills to the local pub or to watch the racehorses train. Inside property one, there is an open-plan living room with a wood burning stove, fitted kitchen and dining area. Upstairs has two king size bedrooms with an en suite bathroom and WC, and two twin bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room and WC. There is a separate bathroom and WC. Property two has two twin bedrooms with an en suite bathroom and WC. Outside has a garden with a table and chair provided. Ample off road parking is available. Northleach was at one time an important market town, celebrated throughout Europe as a major centre for the Cotswold wool trade! The fifteenth-century church of St Peter and St Paul, paid for by the wealthy wool merchants, was built with stone dug from the quarry in the town itself and what is now the Market Square. More recently the village has been used in a number of recent films, including the Casual Vacancy of 2015.
