Thorntree Lodge cottage Peak District
Thorntree Lodge is a wooden lodge located near the village of Rowsley in Derbyshire. It has three bedrooms comprising of a double with an en-suite and two twins, there is also a family bathroom, the lodge can sleep six people. Rowsley is situated south of Chatsworth House and a stones` throw from Haddon Hall. Rowsley offers shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants and in neighbouring Reedsmere is the Michelin-starred East Lodge Hotel and Restaurant. Close by is Bakewell, capital of the Peak District, and home of the Bakewell pudding which is still made locally to an old and secret recipe. This town is at the heart of the Peak District, and further attractions in the area include Gulliver`s Kingdom, the shops and eateries of Matlock Bath, and within easy touring distance, Alton Towers making the location ideal for the whole family to enjoy.
