Tober Beag cottage Ireland
Tober Beag is situated one mile from the village of Boolavogue and five miles from the impressive town of Ferns and is set around a lovely courtyard within the owner`s working livestock farm. The entrance to this lovely cottage is via a paddock door and it has a welcoming open plan living area with a cosy open fire. Tober Beag sleeps four and has two bedrooms - one double and one twin and also contains a well equipped fitted kitchen and dining area. The cottage has off ample off road parking, bike storage and a shared garden with furniture. Tober Beag is an excellent base to explore the area with many towns and beaches to explore making it perfect for couples or families wanting a peaceful and relaxing break.
The historic town of Ferns, established in the 6th century is steeped in history. The town boasts many landmarks and buildings showing evidence of its past. One of main attractions in Ferns is the impressive Ferns Castle. Today, only half the castle remains, but it`s definitely worth a visit. Just 7.5 miles away from Ferns is the town of Enniscorthy, the second largest town in County Wexford. Enniscorthy has a cathedral, castle and a popular greyhound racing track. Courtown is a short drive away and this coastal town has a delightful beach, harbour, shops and pubs. Walkers and cyclists should head to the beautiful Courtown Wood. Within the area there are ten stunning sandy beaches, including the Blue Flag beach at Curracloe. This part of County Wexford is perfect for families and has so much to see and do that you will not want to leave.
