The property is in a secluded spot just a few miles from the main road but surrounded by forest. Its half a mile to the River Findhorn for riverside strolls eagle-spotting or a little fishing by prior arrangement and only a mile to the village which has a well-stocked shop. The house backs onto managed forest where deer roam freely and there are plenty of trails to explore. Golf lovers will be delighted to find several courses nearby the closest being Carrbridge 9 miles away with plenty of other options both in the Cairngorms and in Inverness. With shopping in Inverness 17 miles away and more strenuous hikes in Aviemore 15 miles there is something for everyone within easy reach. The bungalow is deceptively roomy inside and has a pleasant open feel with many windows letting in lots of light. Sit back in the comfortable living room in front of the open fire and enjoy watching the wildlife coming and going in the mature gardens. Previous guests have been lucky enough to see deer red squirrels rabbits weasels and a whole host of birds. The kitchen boasts an Aga that keeps the house toasty plus a dishwasher and microwave and theres a utility room to leave muddy boots in with a washing machine and dryer. The double bedroom has an en-suite and both twin rooms have a wash basin as well as the main bathroom with a shower over the bath. Keen fishers can store their catch in the outside chest freezer and theres a BBQ and garden furniture ready for freshly cooked salmon alfresco. Need to know: 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 2 twins. 2 bathrooms 1 en suite bathroom and 1 family bathroom plus two basins in the twin rooms. Aga, microwave, dishwasher. Utility room with washer/dryer and an outside freezer. TV/DVD player. Collection of films, books and magazines. Wi Fi included. Open fire with logs included. Enclosed gardens with furniture and BBQ. Ample parking. Fishing permits for River Findhorn can be arranged. 2 dogs welcome.
