Torr Solais Cottage cottage Scotland
Torr Solais Cottage is a wonderful detached cottage, on the edge of the village of Kilchoan, the most westerly village in mainland Britain. Boasting sea and mountain views, this cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one double and one twin, along with a bathroom and ground floor shower room. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside there`s ample off road parking and a decked balcony with furniture. Torr Solais Cottage is an excellent base for exploring this part of Scotland.
The pretty village of Kilchoan is situated on the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, the most westerly village in mainland Britain. The village has a shop, pub and restaurant, and from Mingary Pier there is a regular ferry service across the Sound of Mull to Tobermory, on the Isle of Mull. The area close by has quiet sandy beaches and an abundance of wildlife, and a short drive away is Ardnamurchan Point, where you will find a lighthouse and visitor centre.
