Set within the small and peaceful village of Trecastle in the Brecon Beacons this property is within half a mile of the local pub and antique centre. Set out on foot with four-legged friends to explore the spectacular local area taking in the Waterfall County and Dan-yr-Ogof Caves along the way. For a more challenging walk take on the mighty Pen Y Fan (14 miles) the highest peak in southern Britain which offers jaw-dropping views from its summit. Head west to reach the picturesque Usk Reservoir (4.5 miles) a wonderful spot for cycling stone skimming picnics fishing and walking. Or for amenities head east to reach the market town of Brecon (12 miles). This recently renovated double fronted stone cottage is brimming with charm both inside and out with its original timber flooring pretty windows and a stone inglenook fireplace. Prepare and enjoy delicious family meals in the traditional kitchen/diner where you will find an electric oven gas hob fridge freezer microwave dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer together with a farmhouse table and Welsh dresser. Stepping through to the welcoming sitting room inviting sofas and chairs surround a fantastic exposed stone inglenook fireplace with wood burner with a large Sky TV. There is a WC on the ground floor. Upstairs are two delightful bedrooms both of which are finished with goose and down duvets quality linen and calming neutral decor. A king-size bedroom benefits from an en-suite bathroom and shower over the bath plus a TV with Blu-Ray and CD player while a twin bedroom has an en-suite shower room. Outside a pretty garden with a BBQ and two chimineas boasts wonderful views across open fields. There is off-road parking for two cars. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size, 1 twin. 1 bathroom with shower over the bath, 1 shower room, 1 WC. Electric oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer. Sky TV. Wood burner with logs included. Enclosed garden with furniture, BBQ and chimineas. Shed for storing mountain bikes etc.. Off road parking for 2 cars. Welcome pack. 3 dogs welcome.
