Ty Nansi Rhiannon cottage Wales
Ty Nansi Rhiannon was originally a 19th Century stone barn, this property is now a luxurious ground floor apartment. The accommodation is spacious and combines original features with all modern comforts. The cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms. To the rear of the cottage is a large patio, perfect for a spot of outdoor dining or simply taking in the views of the surrounding countryside and the Carneddau Mountain range beyond. Ty Nansi Rhiannon is a lovely property for groups of friends or families to explore this area.
Rowen is located in North Wales in the Conwy Valley within the Snowdonia National Park. The hamlet, with its whitewashed cottages and stunning views, has a reputation for peace and tranquillity and is a favourite with walkers and ramblers who explore the moorland and countryside that lies above this little village. The Roman Road, which passes above Rowen, runs close to many sites of historical interest, including the Maen-y-Bardd, a megalithic burial chamber that dates back to 3,500BC. It is set high on a hill and offers some spectacular views along the valley. A little further along you will find more standing stones at Bwlch y Ddeufaen. Nearby is Conwy, a World Heritage Site, which boasts an imposing castle and near-complete Roman walls. In addition, there is a fishing harbour and Plas Mawr, which is one of the best preserved medieval town houses in the country. In addition to a variety of National trust properties, there are also stunning beaches, the internationally-acclaimed Bodnant Gardens, Victorian Llandudno and the village of Betws-y-Coed.
