This cottage is situated just two miles from the village of Buckland Brewer with its popular pub and traditional butchers. A short drive away is the town of Bideford known for its attractive harbour and narrow streets and alleyways. These are now home to a range of antique shops whilst the town is also worth a visit for its twice weekly produce and craft markets. An interesting day trip from Bideford is the boat ride out to Lundy Island managed by the National Trust. Lundy is home to diverse wildlife as well as a variety of architecturally interesting ruins. Approach this single-storey cottage via the pleasant seating area and enter directly into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This cosy space features a wood burner-effect electric fire and comfortable seating from which to relax and enjoy your favourite programme or perhaps a film on the TV and DVD. The dining table seats two perfect for a romantic meal. The kitchen in the corner of the room has an oven hob microwave and fridge with ice compartment.
