Upper House Barn cottage Peak District
Upper House Barn is a barn conversion set within the village of Delph. Designed in a reverse level layout, on the ground floor are the bedrooms, including a king-size double, two doubles and a twin (zip/link), as well a bathroom, sleeping up to eight people in total. The village of Delph is located on the Yorkshire/Lancashire border and has barely changed from its 19th century hey-day, when its mills were at the heart of a thriving community. Today it remains the start for walks up the Castleshaw Valley to the Roman Fort, one of a series built on the Roman military road from Chester to York.
