The cottage is ideally situated in a quiet country lane between the Black Mountains and the Brecon Beacons. A pleasant 2-mile walk will bring you to the village of Llyswen where you can relish a pint in the historic local inn. 7 miles away is the vibrant market town of Brecon where you can sample Welsh delicacies and culture including at the Theatr Brycheiniog a popular theatre venue. Or head 7 miles in the opposite direction and you ll discover the literary hub of Hay-on-Wye. The cottage itself has a classic exterior nestled in a secluded plot. The interiors are warm and romantic dressed in traditional country style. The heart of the home is the inviting lounge. A dramatic stone hearth and wood burner makes it extra cosy. A dining table sits in the corner and offers a peaceful place to enjoy a meal after a long day. The kitchen is a sunny spot with an additional table and everything you need to prepare a family meal. Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with a shower over the bath. Head up the traditional wooden stairs to your bedrooms two doubles and one single each with a delightful view of the surrounding landscape and pretty decor. The outside space is private and quiet with lots of lush lawn to play and stroll on. Theres even a wild orchard to explore and a BBQ for eating alfresco when the sun shines.
