A beautifully renovated barn thoughtfully converted to a high standard, adjoining the owner's farmhouse. Situated in the village of West Camel within walking distance of the local pub and bakery.
There are countryside walks nearby as well as being ideally placed for either touring the whole of Somerset with its many attractions including the Fleet Air Arm Museum at RNAS Yeovilton, Haynes Motor Museum, Glastonbury with its Tor, Clarks Village at Street, Roman Bath, the Quantock Hills or the beaches on the Jurassic coast, for a relaxing and tranquil holiday.
Farm activities: enjoy the owner's 4 acres of farmland, just a short stroll from the property, where you can meet the chickens, pigs and lambs.
The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: ground floor double with patio doors leading to an enclosed patio with seating, en-suite shower / wetroom and WC. Lounge / diner: stairs lead up to this fabulous area retaining much of its original charm with TV and DVD. Sofa bed available on request. Kitchen: well-equipped with cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge / freezer.
Amenities: parking space for 1 car. Bed linen, towels, shower robes, electric and underfloor heating included. Wi-fi available. 2 well-behaved dogs by arrangement. Regret no smoking. Regret no travel cot or highchair but guests are welcome to bring their own.
Additional info: heating surcharge of £30 from October to April (inclusive), payable to owner on arrival. Coal BBQ available. Half a dozen free range eggs on arrival. Heated dog kennels available on request for a donation to the owner's charity. Dog washing area on site. Security deposit of £50 payble to owner two weeks prior to arrival.
