A private retreat ideally suited for adults who enjoy the pleasures of country life. It is situated in a rural location and is approached through a private entrance shared only with the owner's adjoining property; a warm welcome awaits but privacy is assured.
The historic towns and cities of Axbridge, Cheddar, Glastonbury, Taunton, Bath and Bristol are within easy access by car or rail. The seaside towns of Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-Super-Mare are within a 25 minutes drive. You will be ideally situated for a range of activities for anglers, horse riding, cycling, walking and golf which are all nearby. Lesisure facilities: Discounted membership to nearby Leisure Club and Spa sessional rates apply of £5 per person, includes use of gym, sauna, and swimming pool.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: on the ground floor 1 super-king-size (zip-and-link beds that can be a twin on request) and 1 day room (perfect for a cot). Beautiful galleried double in the eaves with low sloping ceilings and doorways (due to the room it is only suitable for 1 person) with en-suite bathroom and WC and balcony boasting far-reaching countryside views. Shower room: wet room with WC on the ground floor. Lounge / kitchen / diner: open-plan with TV, Freeview, DVD and french doors opening into the garden. Kitchen area with electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Outside: enclosed garden overlooks the surrounding fields with seating, gazebo and pond (caution is required around unfenced pond).
Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and wifi included, heating surcharge applies from 1 November to 30 April (£4 per night) made payable to owner on arrival. Regret no smoking in the property. Regret no pets.
Additional info: due to the unfenced pond regret no children under 12 years old, however babes in arms are welcome. Care must be taken with low ceilings and doorways.
