This cottage is located in the North Norfolk town of Wells-next-the-Sea a pretty seaside town with its traditional fishing quay the range of shops and a wide choice of places to eat. The towns sandy beach is edged by colourful beach huts and is part of the Holkham Estate backed by pine woodland and dunes. In fact at low tide it is possible to walk around to the huge beach at Holkham Bay which featured in the Ben Affleck film Shakespeare in Love . The quay which is still home to a working fishing fleet is a great place to try your luck at crabbing or to take a boat trip around the harbour or alternatively around the salt marshes a wonderfully peaceful journey which is a real treat for those with an interest in wildlife. The front door of this pretty cottage opens directly into the lounge a cosy space with comfortable seating a TV/DVD in the lounge and a fireplace with a wood burner-effect electric fire. From here a step leads through to the kitchen/diner which has a dining table seating four and a good range of equipment including an oven hob microwave fridge freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Moving back through to the lounge guests will find a staircase which leads to the bedrooms on the first floor of the cottage. The first of these is a double room with a 4 6 bed and a built-in wardrobe whilst the second bedroom is a cosy twin room. The bathroom is also situated on the first floor and offers a shower-over-bath and WC. From the cottages kitchen a stable door leads out to a small enclosed courtyard garden at the rear of the property with established shrub borders which is furnished with a table chairs a parasol makes a delightful space for enjoying alfresco dining. There is off-road parking available for one car to the front of the property. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin. 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Wi Fi included.
