This light and airy accommodation benefits from superb views of the neighbouring church and also glimpses of the famous Wells Cathedral. This recently renovated accommodation is close to the centre of the historic city of Wells and also provides many home comforts.
Wells, with its array of cafes, pubs, restaurants and individual boutique shops is renowned for its stunning architecture the finest example of which can be seen in the cathedral and adjoining moated Bishop's Palace. It also plays host to a twice weekly market which makes for enjoyable browsing. Days out nearby, for all ages include Cheddar Gorge and caves, Wookey Hole Caves and mystical Glastonbury with the Tor, Abbey ruins and Chalice Well and gardens. For keen shoppers there is Clarks Village at Street. Slightly further afield are Longleat House and Safari Park, Stourhead House and Gardens, historic Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its Roman baths and the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton.
The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double on the first floor and 1 small single on the ground floor with en-suite WC. Shower room: on the first floor with electric shower and WC. Lounge / diner: on the first floor, with woodburner effect electric fire, TV with Freeview, DVD, hi-fi and glimpses of the cathedral. Kitchen: on the ground floor with integrated oven and electric hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine.
Outside: use of the owners' garden.
Amenities: allocated off-road parking for 1 car. Bed linen, towels, central heating and electric included. 1 well-behaved dog welcome. Regret no smoking.
Location: beach 18 miles, shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Bus stop nearby so a car is not necessary. Arrival 4pm.
