140 ACRES, FARM WITH CATTLE, CORN AND NATURE TRAIL
With breathtaking views over the fields to the sea, this lovely detached property has been renovated to provide a beautiful holiday cottage retaining much of its original charm. It is secluded from the farmhouse and buildings and is approached by a concrete lane of 0.5 mile.
Perfect for those who require peace and solitude, you will be able to explore the 140 acres, valleys and cliffs and see the wildlife on the Nature Trail in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Relax and enjoy the views from the property or venture further afield and explore the many attractions Cornwall has to offer including numerous sheltered coves and sandy beaches. Also suitable for surfing are Trebarwith (3 miles), Polzeath (6 miles) and Daymer Bay. Boat trips and sea fishing from Port Isaac (3 miles via Port Gaverne) and Padstow and coarse fishing at Crowdy Reservoir and Delabole, which also has the slate quarry (the largest man-made hole in the UK) and the Wind Turbine Centre. Golf at Bowood Park, Camelford and St Kew Highway. Pony trekking at Davidstow and on to the moor. Pick-your-own fruit and buy delicious desserts and homemade ice cream at nearby St Endellion. Several good pubs with good eating facilities and children's rooms in all the adjoining villages. St Teath and Delabole, with shops, both 2 miles away. Well suited for day trips by car to other Cornish attractions including Tintagel (4 miles) with its Arthurian legend, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Eden Project and Newquay Zoo and Sealife Centre.
