Westward Ho! benefits from England's oldest golf club, Royal North Devon, that stretches out onto the Northam Burrows Country Park, protected from the sea by the pebble ridge which offers some lovely walks through the dunes and along the beach. Visit the nearby fishing village of Appledore and its galleries, shops and cafes. Other attractions in the area include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor Gardens and Clovelly, to name but a few.
