Woodstock Lodge cottage Northumbria
Woodstock Lodge is a wonderful all-ground-floor barn conversion resting in Mainsforth near Ferryhill, Durham. There are four bedrooms in the cottage, made up of a double with an en-suite bathroom, two further doubles and a twin, served by cloakroom and a family bathroom, together sleeping eight guests. There is also a kitchen with dining seating, a utility, living/dining room and a games room. At the front of the cottage is ample off-road parking as well as a lawn and gravelled garden with furniture. Woodstock Lodge is a beautiful base for families and friends to enjoy a rural retreat.
Ferryhill is a fantastic town resting in County Durham, boasting an enticing past surroundings its coal mining history, there`s plenty here to explore including plenty of lush countryside to discover by foot or bike. There are various events held in the town throughout the year such as Christmas markets, vintage car rally, summer gala and more, with plenty of shops and eateries too. Bishop Auckland, Hartlepool and Durham are all within reach too, making Ferryhill a truly exceptional base.
