This peaceful holiday cottage is situated on an idyllic Cotswolds green set in a secluded location within the heart of Wyck Rissington a lovely village nestled in the rolling countryside between Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water. Close to a wealth of historical culture National Trust properties and top visitor attractions such as the Cotswold Wildlife Park Blenheim Palace and Hidcote Manor. Situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offering easy access into Stratford upon Avon - Shakespeares birthplace Warwick castle and Oxford with its dreaming spires and fascinating museums. Country-lovers will enjoy exploring the local footpaths and bridleways in this exquisite countryside and dog-lovers are welcome to bring their well-behaved pets. The Oxfordshire Way long distance trail passes just 100 yards from the cottage its the perfect place for taking a walk through some of the best countryside in the UK. On arrival at the Cottage you will find a comfortable lounge with an inviting open fire and relaxed surroundings that are perfect to help you unwind what better way to start your holiday. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob a microwave a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer so if you d like to do any cooking whilst on holiday there is ample facility to do so. Theres also a shower room with WC and a washing machine located in the utility room on the ground floor of the property. The first floor hosts the two bedrooms; the first of which has a king-size bed and some helpful bedroom storage furniture. There is also a twin bedroom with a built-in wardrobe. The bathroom has a hand-held shower over bath and WC. Outside is an enclosed garden with furniture and a BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining on a warm summers evening.
