Dappledown cottage South of England

Dappledown a first floor apartment in the village of St Margaret`s at Cliffe in Kent. The apartment sleeps up to four people in a super king-size double bedroom with two single folding beds available. There is also a bathroom a kitchen with a breakfast bar that seats two, and a sitting room with a dining area and a gas log-effect fire. Outside there is roadside parking available, secure bike storage and a front patio with furniture. Dappledown is a lovely apartment to relax in after busy days exploring this beautiful part of the English coast.

St. Margaret`s at Cliffe has long been a holiday hideaway and during the years has been home to many famous people including Noel Coward, Peter Ustinov and Ian Fleming. Some of the Bond books were indeed written while Fleming was staying at his home in St Margaret`s at Cliffe. It is believed he gave his character James Bond agent number 007 after the number of the bus that still runs between London and Deal.
