Jer & Mers Place cottage Dorset and Somerset
Jer & Mer`s Place is a wonderful, detached holiday home, with views of Durleigh Reservoir, near Bridgwater in Somerset. The property is set over three floors, with countryside views from each bedroom. The bedrooms consist of two double bedrooms on the first floor, including one king-size room with an en-suite shower room and panoramic views of the reservoir, as well as two single bedrooms on the second floor. There is also a family bathroom, a kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with two double sofa beds, a woodburner and a door leading onto the terrace. The terrace is decked at the front of the house, with views of the reservoir and countryside, a hot tub, garden furniture and a barbecue. There is also ample off road parking and an enclosed lawned garden at the back of the house. In a great spot for exploring Somerset, Jer & Mer`s Place is the perfect base for families and friends.
The town of Bridgwater has plenty to interest visitors including shopping, historic buildings and a excellent selection of restaurants and pubs. Also an annual Bridgwater Illuminated Carnival takes place in November. Cheddar is only a few miles away, as is Glastonbury, home of King Arthur and pop festivals. The fascinating wetland areas surrounding Bridgwater are internationally renowned for wildfowl and wading birds. Nearby Shapwick Heath has an excellent wetland nature reserve.
