Enjoy an array of water sports including windsurfing canoeing and sailing in the towns large shallow bay. Within easy reach of the historic town of Arbroath famed for the Arbroath Smokie with its splendid abbey historic harbour long sandy beaches and stunning sandstone cliffs. The vibrant city of Dundee is close at hand with its excellent shopping and leisure facilities. The immediate area is perfect for walking cycling mountain biking and hiking with wonderful coastal paths woodland walks country trails and the magnificent Angus Glens all within easy reach.
