Clapton Pier is a good place for all the family to enjoy a holiday beside the sea side. It has a lot of attractions in one location from amusement park and rides, or have a fun time bowling. Audley End House is one of the largest and finest examples of an 18th century Jacobean mansion house in England. Being reopening in April 2014 to include the up stairs which has until now been out of bounds so visitors will be able to see what life was like up stairs in the mansion, and also see the recreated 1830s nursery suite including the full support of nursemaids and governesses employed for the 3rd Lord Braybrookes 8 children.
